Claudia Bosse / theatercombinat
Über Claudia Bosse / theatercombinat
theatercombinat is an international ensemble around Claudia Bosse, whose works are distinguished by the love of researching new spaces and texts and the constant reflection on the concept of theatre. The areas that are played range from underground station shafts to roof landscapes or former industrial buildings, and play just as important a role as the structures of the texts being staged. In each re-staging the ensemble poses itself the challenge of taking equal account of the text, space, structure and spectators, and allowing direct references or confrontations to emerge. Since 2010 Claudia Bosse has developed a new method of composing works through “acoustic narratives”, together with the particular performers and the sound artist Günther Auer. Her partners have been, are or will be: FFT Düsseldorf, Watermill Center in New York, MSU Zagreb, Tanzquartier Wien, Staatstheater Braunschweig, GRÜ/théâtre du grütli Genf, Nationaltheater Montenegro, Kampnagel Hamburg or festivals such as Eurokaz, Wien Modern, Journées Théâtrales de Carthage, Theaterformen or Theater der Welt.
