Ort: TQW / Studios
Im Rahmen von: Austrian première
Info
On a shared evening, the Portuguese choreographer Tânia Carvalho and Luís Guerra, both members of the artist collective Bomba Suicida, founded in Portugal in 1997, will present two solos inspired by the works of the author Valter Hugo Mãe: Síncopa and A primeira dança de urizen.
With Síncopa, Tânia Carvalho, who has already guest-starred at the Tanzquartier Wien with her group work Icosahedron, inspired by the space and body elements of the 1920s, is showing a work in which the focus is on pure physicality. A solo that addresses what is proverbially under the skin: the organs and bones of the dancing body.
