Why is it hard to write of this project at this point... The elements are there and I've been making some progress; but now the process has now taken off and the layers are mixing and interacting in a blur. Steve from the video. His work and training that I have been practicing. The improvising and what it brings daily. The landscape of music and the effort of analyzing, thinking/writing about... all through this body ininteraction; in a situation where this body itself is in a new, foreign environment, demanding decisions, choices, answers. This is not the time to reduce anything to words. Better do. (Jurij Konjar)

In his current project, Slovenian dancer Jurij Konjar deals with one of the prominent works in the recent history of contemporary dance: Steve Paxton`s interpretation of Goldberg Variations. In this work-in-progress presentation and in between contamination and demarcation, analysis and improvisation, Jurij Konjar will open up and share his working process, experiences and exchange with Paxton with the audience.
